Alumni Weekend Kicks Off Today

If you keep up with DePaul alumni news (and of course, you do!) then you probably know that Alumni Weekend 2008 kicks off today. If you’re coming to campus for the weekend, welcome back!

For the past month or so, the DePaul Office of Alumni Relations has been even busier than usual. planning this year’s alumni weekend, which includes Reunion and a ton of other events on both the DePaul Loop and Lincoln Park campuses. Here’s some of what’s in store, courtesy of the DePaul alumni website:

Reunion Luncheon — Class of 1958
Help us celebrate the 50th reunion of the class of 1958 and honor those who graduated more than 50 years ago.

Young Alumni Reunion — Class of 2003
Celebrate your 5th reunion with your classmates at McGee’s Tavern and Grille.

Reunion Dinner and Celebration
Spend an elegant evening at the Union League Club of Chicago with fellow DePaul alumni and their guests.

Law Reunion Celebration
Gather with your College of Law classmates and professors for dinner and dancing at the Hotel Intercontinental on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.

Alumni and Family Weekend Mass
Join the Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, C.M., president of DePaul, for the Mass of the Holy Spirit at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

Alumni Weekend Brunch
Enjoy one last chance to mingle with fellow alumni and meet your Alumni Association board members.

For parents and family of current DePaul students, this is a special weekend, too. The Office of Academic Enhancement kicks off the DePaul Family Weekend. Check out a brochure of the event.
