Our alumni aren’t the only ones doing great things! Recently, Jim Duignan, associate professor of Visual Arts Education, was named an Artadia Awardee 2008 Chicago for his work as head of the Stockyard Institute, a collaborative artist project that explores learning and living in the city, especially the experiences of Chicago’s most underserved adolescents.

The recognition includes a $15,000 award and lifetime access to Artadia’s national network of support. Check out Jim’s award-winning work.

The road to this prestigious award wasn’t easy. Eight Chicago artists, including Jim, were selected from a record 654 applications. Congrats, Jim!
