DePaul in the News – Enrollment Record Breaker

18 Nov

What do DePaul University and Argentina have in common? They’re both the eight largest — private university and country, respectively.

depaulfaceThe university jumped up one spot (from ninth to eighth place) on the list of size rankings of private universities in the United States, according to a recent news release. The move is thanks to the university’s all-time high enrollment figures. 24,352 students are enrolled in DePaul for the 2008 academic year, a 4 percent increase over last year, and almost 750 students more than the school’s previous enrollment record.

As they say in Argentina, “¡Qué bueno!”
