It’s Easy Being Green – DePaul’s New Science Building

Let’s start out 2009 with some exciting news from the Lincoln Park campus: the Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan Science Building opened for classes today. It’s DePaul’s first new facility built on campus in about a decade, and boasts some pretty cool environmentally-friendly architecture, among some other notable features:

  • 23 research labs.
  • eight dedicated teaching labs.
  • five large tiered
    a multipurpose room that can easily convert from a classroom to a lab.
  • Two rooftop green houses – one for teaching and another for research.
