Two Blue will play on USA Women’s Softball Teams

The Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) just announced this year’s rosters for the three teams representing the USA Softball Women’s National Team program during the 2009 summer season — and two Blue Demons made the cut!

Amber Patton, a two-time Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American who completed her DePaul career in 2009 with a school-record .497 average, was named to the Japan Cup Team, which will compete Cup in Sendai, Japan, July 31- Aug.2.

Blue Demon assistant coach and two-time Olympic Medalist Cat Osterman will play on the National Team roster and will compete at both the Canada Cup in Surrey, B.C., and the KFC World Cup of Softball presented by Six Flags in Oklahoma City, Okla.
