Yippee! Bring out your favorite champagne glass! Carla Michelotti, a DePaul trustee and double Demon (LAS ’72, JD ’75), is the winner of the American Advertising Federation’s 2009 Silver Medal Lifetime Achievement Award. Michelotti, executive vice president and general counsel of advertising firm Leo Burnett Worldwide, is being recognized for her stellar contributions to the advertising profession.
There are two unique things about this award, according to Biotech Law Weekly. It’s the first time an attorney is receiving AAF’s silver medal for lifetime achievement and only the second time a woman has been so honored since the award was established a half century ago .
Polished that champagne glass already? Good. Keep it squeaky clean until October 27 when DePaul alumna Michelotti will be receiving the award at Maggiano’s restaurant in downtown Chicago. For more details about this champagne-popping opportunity, read the Biotech Law Weekly article that announced it.
And most importantly, Kudos to Carla Michelotti for doing us proud!
