DePaul Symphony Orchestra Takes the Stage

DePaul’s School of Music is throwing the doors of the Chicago Symphony Center wide open! Come see the DePaul Symphony Orchestra perform at the 34th Annual Spring Concert at Symphony Center on May 25 at 8 p.m.

Under the direction of distinguished conductor and musician Cliff Colnot, the DePaul Symphony Orchestra will perform Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, Carl Reinecke’s Flute Concerto in D Major and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor.

The flute concerto will feature DePaul flute faculty member Mary Stolper, who is currently principal flute of the Grant Park Symphony, Music of the Baroque, Chicago Opera Theater and the new music ensemble Fulcrum Point.
