16 Jun

Congratulations to recent DePaul alumnus Wahaj Tariq (COM ’11) for being accepted into the NFL’s Junior Rotational Program.

The NFL Junior Rotational Program is a series of work assignments while being rotated through various departments within the NFL, including communications and public affairs, events, finance, football operations and officiating, international marketing and sales, and media. In addition, participants receive comprehensive orientation and training, mentor assignments with upper management, and the opportunity to network with other participants.

Wahaj withstood a lengthy interview process, competing with over 2,000 applicants. He was eventually flown out to the NFL headquarters in New York, where after a full day of final interviews, he was selected along with six other participants. Wahaj begins his experience with the NFL the first week of July.

Wahaj graduated this year with a B.S. in commerce, sports management, and marketing.
We wish Wahaj the absolute best!
