DePaul Does Good

14 Jul

As a member of The Chicago Loop Alliance, DePaul University is participating in the GO DO GOOD campaign, a city-wide movement to prepare Chicago’s kids to succeed in academics.

DePaul is doing its part by hosting a food drive throughout the month of July. Donations of any nonperishable food items can be placed in the bin near the freight elevators on the 19th floor of the 55 E. Jackson building. Those within the DePaul community who are not employees may show a student or alumni ID in the lobby or simply sign in at the front desk.

The GO DO GOOD campaign is a shared effort between the Chicago Loop Alliance and United Way of Metropolitan Chicago to see kids graduate and contribute to the workforce to build stronger families and communities. The campaign also celebrates Kay Rosen’s art installations throughout the Loop, all of which are inspired by the purpose of work. The campaign hopes to reach a goal of 100,000 good deeds by the end of the summer.

In the Vincentian spirit, let’s do good for Chicago’s kids!
