Across the country arts alumni are acting now to participate in the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP). The survey, which will provide comprehensive national data on how artists develop in this country, is set to close next week (Nov. 14-18).
DePaul University is participating to help to identify how to better connect arts training to artistic careers. The survey will allow educators, researchers and arts leaders to identify the systemic factors that helped or hindered the career paths of alumni, whether they have chosen to work as artists or pursue other paths.
Patricia O’Donoghue, DePaul’s Vice President for Alumni Outreach and Engagement, asks that everyone who has received an invitation please complete the SNAAP survey by the deadline. “Only select alumni received the invitation so it truly is critical that each person respond,” she says.
DePaul alumni with an arts-related degree who have not received their invitation should contact Sandra Guy (firstname.lastname@example.org). www.snaapsurvey.org
