Recent Alumni: We’re Missing You!

16 Nov

In this season of giving, The Moore Family Challenge for Recent Alumni is asking recent grads to remember their friends at DePaul who might not have been in the picture if not for scholarship support.

DePaul trustee and alumnus Patrick J. Moore and his wife, Elizabeth, have thought about this and decided to help ensure that no one misses out. But they need help. They’re asking recent alumni who graduated from 1996 through 2011 to:

  • Make gifts to DePaul of any size up to $5,000
  • Raise $250,000 by December 31, 2011
  • Dedicate gifts to any scholarship fund or program of choice
  • Participate in the dreams of future generations

With just more than a month until the deadline, pressure is mounting to meet the goal of raising $250,000 in gifts up to $5,000 by the end of the year. When recent grads do it, Mr. Moore will double the amount to DePaul with a matching gift to the Patrick and Elizabeth Moore Endowed Scholarship for students in good academic standing who show financial need. This means DePaul will receive half-a-million dollars of alumni support by the end of the year.

If you’re a recent grad, please take a moment to reflect on students from your DePaul days, as well as students of today and tomorrow. Please join the Moore Family Challenge for Recent Alumni! Learn Moore.
